Heather Cook

Heather prides herself on building long-lasting client relationships by following the Golden Rule – to treat clients the way she would want to be treated. To listen, to work with integrity and transparency, to keep clients well informed. Heather genuinely cares about her clients and strives to make them feel like family. She feels honored to help them maneuver through the home buying/selling process.

Heather obtained her BA in Philosophy, Law, & Rhetoric from Stephens College (a woman’s college). She then moved to Knoxville from St. Louis, MO to attend UT’s College of Law. After earning her JD, Heather decided to make this great city her home and has lived here for more than 20 years.

While she never practiced law in the formal sense, Heather has parlayed her legal knowledge and client-centered focus in each of her careers before choosing real estate. As an independent sales consultant and sales director for a global cosmetics company and later, as a finance and admissions associate for a prestigious local private school, Heather has demonstrated a passion for cultivating and nurturing quality relationships with her clients while also maintaining high standards of integrity, confidentiality, and an attention to detail. She strives to build mutual trust with her clients and to always advocate for their best interests.

Heather came into real estate organically. Throughout her years in Knoxville, Heather and her husband moved several times – her initial relocation from St.Louis, purchasing an older home, renting apartments, custom-building a home, and purchasing a “spec” home, she experienced many facets of real estate from the client perspective. With each move, she felt a desire to know more about the industry. Over the years, she retained her longstanding interest in property, contracts and negotiations so it was only natural that she would finally delve fully into real estate in 2020. Her client-centered approach marries well with her keen understanding of the nuances of buying and selling property.

Heather is an innovator, entrepreneur, wife and mother. When she’s not helping her clients, she enjoys hiking, SUP, kayaking, reading, gardening, eating good food and enjoying each moment she’s been given.
